YOUNG PEOPLE CAN HAVE A REAL VOICE
At POINT, we have our very own, award winning Youth Forum — a space where young people can have a real voice in how the centre is run and make a positive impact in their community. The Youth Forum also offers the opportunity to complete Senior Member Training, including the principles and practices of youth work through AGORED, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of youth work and leadership.
The forum is run by the young people themselves, who meet twice a month to discuss ideas for the centre, share what’s going well, highlight any challenges, and plan activities they would like to see at POINT and in the wider community.

AWARD WINNING
Over the years, the Youth Forum has organised a variety of fundraising events to support their youth centre, including pizza nights, bingo events, and interactive activities — all planned and delivered by the forum members. In 2024 our youth forums dedication and hard work was recognised when they won the ‘ Mike Beckett Youth Award’ at the PAVS Volunteering Awards.
Youth Forum Meetings: Thursdays, 3:30 – 5:30pm at POINT
