Zoe Davies
Strategic & Governance Manager
Zoe has many years of experience working with young people across a variety of support roles. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Sociology and Gender Studies and a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling, bringing both expertise and empathy to her role at POINT.
Outside of work, Zoe is passionate about music — she loves singing and playing the violin and performs in a local jazz and blues band called “Junkmood.” Her creativity and dedication shine through in everything she does for the centre and the young people she supports.
Dyfan Howells
Finance officer
Dyfan joined POINT in March 2023 as Finance Officer and is currently completing his level 4 AAT accounting studies. He plans to continue his finance education beyond the AAT qualification, building on his growing expertise in the sector. Dyfan is the whizz behind all things finance at POINT, keeping the centre running smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Dyfan enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and cheering on Arsenal.
Kate-Marie Mitchell
General Manager
Kate-Marie has been working with young people for over 23 years, including 18 years at POINT. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Youth and Community Work and brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to supporting our members.
Known as the “emo” of the team, Kate-Marie expresses her creativity through tattoos, bold hair colours, and blasting heavy metal music. Her vibrant personality and commitment make her a relatable, inspiring figure for young people at POINT.
Zoe Aylward
Senior Youth Worker
Zoe has a long-standing connection with POINT — she was a young person at the centre and completed extensive work experience within youth services before attending university. She earned a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Special & Inclusive Education and went on to complete her MA in Youth Work and Social Education.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys travelling, going to the gym, walking, and spending time socialising with family and friends. Her experience, passion, and personal connection to POINT make her an approachable, inspiring mentor for young people.
Lee Wright
Youth Worker
Lee was born and raised in Pembrokeshire but has also lived in Cardiff, Florida, and Liverpool, and travelled extensively across Central and South America before returning to West Wales. He holds a First Class Honours in Youth & Community Work and brings a wealth of experience working with young people both in the UK and abroad.
Lee enjoys playing football and exploring new places, and is passionate about challenging social injustice. His global perspective and dedication make him a fun, approachable, and inspiring mentor for young people at POINT.
Reeve Griffiths
Youth Support Worker
Reeve is a local from Fishguard and a former member of POINT, a place that has played a significant role in his life. He is now proud to work at POINT as a Youth Support Worker, giving back to the centre that helped shape him. Reeve is currently working towards completing his Level 3 qualification in Youth Work.
Reeve is a fun, approachable role model for the young people at POINT, making the centre a welcoming and engaging space where they feel supported. In his spare time, he enjoys socialising with friends and staying connected to his community.
Peter Gardener
Volunteer
Peter joined POINT in early 2024 following his move from Manchester in Fishguard . Now in retirement Peter is keen to bring his 23 years’ experience of fundraising with The King’s Trust to a local community organisation supporting young people, POINT is therefore an ideal choice. His extensive experience in all aspects of bid development and management is an important and welcome addition in contributing to POINT’s fundraising strategy. Peter is a qualified Teacher, gaining a Diploma in Management Studies and his fundraising work with The King’s Trust has been recognised with Quality Awards.
In his spare time Peter enjoys walking, cinema, gardening, music, meals out and supporting his lifelong football club Manchester City FC.
